Personal site at [alejandro.pe](https://www.alejandro.pe) by Alejandro Garcia Salas. Founding engineer at Sail and Muddy (multiplayer-browser startup, 2022-onwards), previously interned at Airbnb in 2018 on the design system team. Also one of the first 10-20 alpha testers of Cursor.

The writing is long-form retrospective rather than reaction-post — multi-thousand-word pieces with footnote-style sidenotes, photographs, and explicit cross-references to other founders' retrospectives (Adam Wiggins on Muse, Rajiv Ayyangar on Tandem, Chase Lambda on Mighty, Josh Miller's Arc letter). The style assumes you've actually wanted to read about why specific products died and what the people who built them think now.
