What makes it worth tracking is the house method: the articles read the project's own repository documentation and check the announcement against it.

Dorsey described the product as decentralized and self-sovereign; the article went to Block's `ARCHITECTURE.md`, found that Buzz has no peer-to-peer exchange, no gossip layer and no inter-relay replication, and reported that decentralization here means deployment and ownership rather than protocol. It sourced the feature scope from `VISION_PROJECTS.md` and the incomplete parts — mobile, push, workflow approval gates — from Block's own docs rather than from testing.

The resulting pieces are structured as: what shipped, how it works, where the claim and the architecture diverge, and what's not finished. They stop short of a verdict, which is appropriate for launch-day coverage but means they won't tell you whether anything is good.
