# Since You Arrived (Vol. IV)

A web art piece: four short HTML "volumes" at sinceyouarrived.world, published April 2026 by Matt W. (riseuplabs.app). Each volume is a single page that uses the time you've spent on it to compute what *else* happened in the world during your visit — what passed in the sky overhead (Vol. II), what was already at your feet (Vol. III), what was taken from somewhere (Vol. IV).

The form is the content. The pages are static-feeling but read live timestamps and durations to populate themselves. The total reading time across all four volumes is small; the effect is meant to land in the gap between "I opened a tab" and "I closed it."

This is small enough to not warrant a deep entry — included primarily because it's an example of a category that's increasingly rare in 2026: small, self-contained, single-author web art that earns its existence by what only the browser can do. Compare with [[paper-computer]] (using paper to escape screens) — these volumes use the screen to do something paper can't.

No source content to ingest meaningfully — the pages are mostly the experience of visiting them.
