# The Coder Cafe

The Coder Cafe is a Substack newsletter (`read.thecoder.cafe`) that covers a single concept per post — typically Linux, systems programming, concurrency, or database internals. Each post traces a real incident or design decision end-to-end with diagrams. Past posts include "Linux Soft vs. Hard Lockup", "Instruction Pipelining Explained", and "Simultaneous Multithreading Explained".

The format is "one concept with your coffee" — short enough to finish in a sitting, deep enough that you actually understand the mechanism rather than the headline.
