Dave Addey's typesetinthefuture.com is a long-running close-reading blog about the typography, set design, UI, and graphic design of science-fiction films. The signature posts are scene-by-scene takedowns of single movies — Alien, Blade Runner, 2001, Moon — tracking every typeface, sign, and on-screen UI. The book Typeset in the Future: Typography and Design in Science Fiction Movies (2018, Abrams) collects and extends the blog work.
